Osier Vell Moss Jones

Born: August 12, 1916, in Ben Hill County, Fitzgerald, GA.
She accepted Christ Jesus at a very young age and obeyed the rules
of the Holy Bible for discipline taught in the Union Holiness Church.
Praying and singing was her calling from God. Her testimony was
"once I was blind in both eyes and my mind was taken away, but God
worked a miracle and my sight and mind were restored instantly" as
Father Sapp and her mother Callie Wootson Moss anointed her with oil
and prayed. She married Willie Jones early in life. She kept her
family together through daily prayer and singing. After her mothers'
death, she upheld and respected all she learned and never departed
from her faith in God. She died on December 22, 1969 in Washington, DC.
She left behind a legacy of her love for God and the Holy Bible for
discipline to her children and descendants.
